CARDBOARD BOAT REGATTA

Under the impetus of an initiative begun by Paul ROBERT in Douarnenez, the Urban Community of Dunkirk set up, during the festival, is first Cardboard Boat Regatta .

Navigating the Cardboard Boat ! This concept became a reality thanks to the collaboration of the Workshop Elise, college Lucie Aubrac and Dunes of Flanders. Under the watchful eye of Joe Seeten a lively inter alia by its shipwrecks regatta was held on the Marine Basin close to the Festival.

On this occasion, Saturday, June 8 in the Studio 43 ( 10 am to 12 pm ) and on stage at 16:30 , Paul ROBERT came to present his latest creation and to conduct a workshop building cardboard boat.

College students Lucie Aubrac worked with “The Elise Workshop and cardboard furniture” in the manufacture of cardboard boat to the small regatta Saturday, June 8 in the basin of the Navy.

During the celebrations of the sea and water sports, a first copy of cardboard boat has been tested on the basin instead Centennial. In case of shipwreck, his sailors did not risk much. Especially that contrary to what one might think, a cardboard boat (although compact) it floats !

GRAPHIC BOARDING
