Arctic Passage 2013-2014

Not in competition.

After her solo crossings of the Atlantic and the Pacific, Anne Quéméré’s dream is to try the mythical North-West Passage on a kayak. The difficulty of the journey makes it really impressive but the minimum of means is definitely less so. It can be undertaken only during the summer when the melting ice momentarily opens a route between the Detroit of Lancaster and the Beaufort Sea. In addition to the athletic feat, this journey is above all a human adventure full of encounters and scientific observations.
